Last Steering Committee of InnoNauTICs Project in Majorca (Spain)

Last Steering Committee took place at the premises of the Balearic Islands Agency of Tourism on Tuesday 16th October 2012 in Palma de Mallorca. The meeting started with a round table of presentations of the representatives of the partners organisations.

Since the project was about to finish 31st October 2012 the goal of the meeting was to control next steps for every partner and coordination regarding the deliverables to fulfil by the partnership and the procedure of management and coordination on the protocol on the accession to the InnoNauTICs network for the promotion of the innovation in the nautical sector.

The aim of this InnoNauTICs Network will be to promote a cooperation protocol that allow partners to continue networking in the future at the same time that it allows the incorporation of new agents to create a wider working community with the possibility to access more knowledge and potential projects in the future. Financial aspects were dealt by the lead partner and every participant. Last but not least partners were informed about the documentation required to present the final report to be coordinated by the lead partner.

 

Steering Committee in Oristano (Sardinia, Italy)

The sixth Steering Committee was held in Oristano on the 21st and 22nd February 2012. During this Committee, it was explained that the Centre for Innovation (from now on called CIQN-Med) will have its headquarters in the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce, in Crete (Greece) and it will have the form of a non-profit civil partnership.  The CIQN-Med is ready to start activities by the end of March 2012. The Committee reviewed the progress achieved in the execution of the pilot projects. Lately, ATB explained the improvements done on the InnoNauTICs website and on the nauticaleurope platform, in regards to their contents, appearance and also in the growing number of nautical enterprises participating in the project. Furthermore, the President of Oristano Chamber, the President of Mallorca Chamber and INSULEUR, the Director of Innonautics, the Coordinator of the InnoNauTICs pilot projects and a representative from Consorzio Uno presented Innonautics to the local Oristano communication media.

As for communication issues, the LP explains that a new video on InnoNauTICs has been released and that in June 2012, there will be in Brussels a Dissemination of Results Conference. Besides, in January 2012, the InnoNauTICs project was promoted at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (FITUR) and on the same month, the 3rd Newsletter was issued (available on http://www.innonautics.org/downloads/).

 

Steering Committee in Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy)

The fifth Steering Committee was held in Cagliari on the19th and 20th October. The project leader gave a brief summary of the objectives and achievements of InnoNauTICs. The most important are: the development of pilot projects, the creation of the Training and Innovation Nautical Centre and lastly, the setting up of a website of services for the nautical sector, which will be extended to the whole Mediterranean.  The Training and Innovation Nautical Centre will contribute to the distribution and dissemination of knowledge about the maritime and nautical industry.
The project partners were summoned to the next steering committee to be held in Oristano (Sardinia) next February 2012.

 

 

Steering Committee in Heraklion (Crete)

This Steering Committee was celebrated on June, the 30th and July, the 1st, 2011 at the premises of the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During this meeting the technical aspects of the platform of the InnoNauTICs Project were revised and it was agreed that in the next Steering Committee meeting, a short training course on how to use the back office of the Platform will take place. For those not able to be at the training course, some screencast videos will be made available on the platform. The next meeting was agreed to take place in Cagliari in October.

 

 

 

Steering Committee in Chios (Greece)

The third meeting of InnoNauTICs took place on March, the 30th and April, the 1st 2011 in the Greek island of Chios. At this Steering Committee the partners raised questions regarding the project implementation; mainly financial and technical issues. Furthermore, the methodology for gathering data during the pilot projects and the Intranet contents were presented during the meeting. Also, the design of the InnoNauTICs platform was approved by the partners, the chronogram of activities was reviewed and the date for the forthcoming meeting of the project was agreed.

 

Steering Committee in Bastia (Corsica, France)

The second meeting of the Steering Committee of the InnoNauTICs project was held in Bastia on the 20th and 21st of January 2011, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of this city. During those two days, the partners discussed several subjects, such as the presentation of the pilot projects of nautical innovation to be implemented by the project partners. Furthermore, the Quality Plan and the Intranet system to be used by the partners were presented. The partners exchanged views on the creation of a Center for Innovation and Quality for the Nautical sector in the Mediterranean -that was approved in following meetings-, and shared their experiences regarding their local communication plans and the Info Days to be celebrated by each partner with companies of their own nautical industry. The aim of the Info Days is to collect data to be included in the database of the forthcoming electronic platform.

 

Kick-off meeting in Palermo (Sicily, Italy)

The kick-off meeting of InnoNauTICs took place in Palermo on September, the 30th and October, the 1st 2010. During this first meeting, the logo of the project was approved, as well as the global and local Communication Plans to be implemented by each partner. The attendants also agreed on the supplier responsible for creating the digital platform of the project. The Steering Committee decided the calendar for the forthcoming meetings and sat the bases for the pilot projects to be developed as well as for the Info Days to be celebrated by each partner with presence of the nautical and the tourism sector of their area.
